UMA feat. Markku Ounaskari Estonia-Finland

UMA was born as a collaboration between trumpeter Aleksei Saks and guitarist Robert Jürjendal. Their music is characterised by classical forming and specific Nordic ambient atmosphere enriched with free jazz improvisations. This time the duo will be joined by the internationally renowned Finnish drummer Markku Ounaskari with his ethereal drumming. Maian Kärmas has aptly described the music of UMA’s new album, Wishing Well released this year: “Aleksei Saks and Robert Jürjendal are like an elegant cleaning team that clears our busy brains and bodies of excess clutter.”
