ELLIP

ELLIP is a solo project that saw light in year 2019. Behind it is a singer-songwriter-producer from Estonia. The first solo album was released in spring 2020 and was inspired by the smoothness and melodies of jazz and soul, rhythms of hip hop and prominent bass lines and electronic sounds.

As s songwriter ELLIP has sampled a variety of genres from drum & bass, electronic music, jazz and soul to pop music. At this point she lets go of genre limitations and lets the music dictate the course of melody. In 2019 she participated in Baltic Trail an electronic music creative camp in Latvia as well as studied music production in the UK. In February 2021 she was a participant in the women’s songwriting camp organised by Music Estonia and Shesaidso.

She started performing at 9 years old and writing music at 16. The musical experimentations of 2021 have led her to discover the smooth and nostalgic waves of R&B, jazz and pop. During her career ELLIP has cooperated with many musicians and producers from EST and abroad like Sander Mölder, Planeet, Jozels and Stillhead from the UK.
