Paabel Album release concert!

Paabel is one of the most innovative forces in Estonian folk music – a band that, already in the early 2000s, fused folk traditions, jazz, rock and improvisation into an explosive and entirely distinctive musical language. Their energetic live performances were once compared to those of King Crimson and Soundgarden.

Although inactive since 2017, Paabel remained a legendary presence on the Estonian music scene, with an influence that continues to be felt today. Now the band is back – with new music, renewed energy, and a new album, Ajatu (Timeless), which will be presented on a nationwide tour as part of Autumn Jazz.

At the heart of Paabel’s music remains a spirit of boundless playfulness, a remarkable on-stage chemistry, and a free and unpredictable approach to folk traditions. Their sound is at once primal and contemporary, wild and refined – music that feels immediate, vibrant and alive every time it is performed.
