“Tormis Remains”
The Grammy-awarded Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir conducted by Kaspars Putninš and the quartet Voorand-Koikson-Sooäär-Daniel will take the listener to the genuine and unique world of ancient Baltic Finnish folk songs. The authentic performance of the chamber choir is complemented by the quartet’s innovative improvisational approaches. Shortly before Jazzkaar the quartet also released a record with jazzy interpretations of the works of Tormis.
