In 1964, the world-famous jazz pianist Bill Evans released the album Waltz for Debby with Monica Zetterlund, thus landing the beloved Swedish singer in front of the international jazz audience. At Christmas Jazz, Liina Saar and Jürmo Eespere will revive the piano trio’s album, a true gem for serious jazz music lovers. In order for these songs to reach deep into the listeners’ hearts, several of them will be performed in Estonian, with lyrics excellently translated by Jan Kaus.
