The composer and saxophonist Maria Faust was inspired by the Estonian folklore and sacred music when working on the programme Maria Faust Sacrum Facere. The piece has been on stage of many European reputable jazz festivals and earned praise from the critics. This time, the Estonian audience will hear the big ensemble together with the Tallinn Dome Church organ. For the album “Sacrum Facere”, Maria Faust won the best jazz composer and crossover-album prizes at the Danish Music Awards of 2014. In 2016, she won the Danske Jazz Award in Estonia.
