Bass guitarist Mai Leisz who is originally from Leisi, Saaremaa, has entered the high league of music and sparkle of the big cities as a result of a trail of unbelievable lucky chances for a talented girl from the countryside. MaiGroup that was started with school mates in Sweden has this spring recorded a third album “Metamorphosis” in Los Angeles. The production is done in collaboration with Greg Leisz and in addition to the MaiGroup, Bill Frisell, Charles Lloyd, and David Crosby will step up as guests.
