If we were to name the most famous jazz musician of the past century, it is undoubtedly the brilliant trumpeter, singer and ensemble leader Louis Armstrong, whose music and unique style have inspired many and still continue to do so. This year marks 120 years since the master’s birth and 50 years since his death. The gems of Armstrong’s repertoire will be performed at Christmas Jazz by the band of the American trumpeter Jason Hunter featuring Sofia Rubina and Jan Uuspõld as vocalists and Allan Järve on trumpet.
