Joshua Redman is one of the most highly acclaimed and visible jazz artists working today. His sweet, singing tenor saxophone tone and exploratory projects have been praised by fans and critics alike. The son of legendary saxophonist Dewey Redman, Joshua graduated from Harvard, and was set on studying law at Yale until a summer in New York with his father set him on a very different career path. A 1991 Thelonious Monk Jazz Competition winner, Redman brings his profound compositional talent to the saxophone trio format.
