The music of Heikko Remmel Quartet is strongly influenced by the 50s and 60s jazz tradition. One of the most outstanding young Estonian double bass players, Heikko Remmel received the Young Jazz Talent Award in 2016. The freshly formed quartet includes his like-minded artists pianist Joel Remmel and Finnish jazz talents trumpeter Mikko Karjalainen and drummer Aleksi Heinola.
