15.-/12.-
From November 1st 18.-/15.-

Join us for a concert where Estonian poetic classics intertwine with minimalist music. Two passionate advocates of Estonian jazz, Guido Kangur and Oleg Pissarenko, will unite at the Endla Theatre’s Küün in Pärnu to present texts by poets including Doris Kareva, Tõnu Õnnepalu, Juhan Viiding and others, alongside some of Pissarenko’s finest recent works.

Guido Kangur is an actor at the Estonian Drama Theatre and a long-time advocate of jazz music. As an actor, Guido has captured the hearts of Estonian audiences through countless theatre roles, his distinctive charisma and his compelling voice. He has received numerous accolades for his artistic contributions, including the Order of the White Star, Fourth Class, and the Estonian Republic Cultural Award.

Oleg Pissarenko is an Estonian musician, composer and a long-time advocate of jazz, whose quest for musical truth has led him to a minimalist sound. He expresses this through his guitar and piano playing. Pissarenko has received several accolades for his artistic work, including the title of ERR Musician of the Year and the Order of the White Star, Fifth Class. He has released 11 solo albums, with his latest being Soul’s Journey (2021), Jalutuskäik iseendaga (2022) and Seisundi Muusika (2024).
