Emler-Tchamitchian-Echampard Trio (France)

Open-minded and humorous pianist and composer Andy Emler is the creative leader of many extravagant ensembles. Estonian jazz lovers know well also the members of Emler’s trio – drum virtuoso Eric Echampard and top double-bass player Claude Tchamitchian. All three have won prestigious French jazz awards. The music of the trio is in constant development and based on the dialogue of moving structures. Musical contrasts create a sound where dynamics and minimalism meet a pulsing feeling and instinctive jazz freedom.
