CRISS CROSS EUROPE feat. BOJAN Z & KIRKE KARJA (France- Estonia- Belgium-Luxembourg-The Netherlands)

Every year Criss Cross Europe Band brings together gifted European musicians, to perform and enrich their musical technique together with top musicians like Louis Sclavis, Stefano Bollani, Marylin Mazur. This one of a kind musical laboratory has been successfully held for already 10 years now. Last year bassist Peedu Kass took part as a participant from Estonia, this year jazz pianist and composer Kirke Karja will hold our flag high. She will make music together with Belgian double bassist Anneleen Boehme, Luxembourg vibraphonist Pol Belardi, guitarist Yuri Rhodenborgh and French drummer Mathieu Penot. The mentor of the ensemble is Serbian charismatic pianist and composer Bojan Z, who has performed at Jazzkaar previously with saxophone legend Michel Portal.
