Afra Kane is a young singer, composer and producer whose sensitive style and diverse cultural background captivate music lovers around the world. She is the winner of the Montreux Jazz Talent Awards (2019) and a nominee for the Swiss Live Talents Awards (2022). In Afra Kane’s music, neo-soul (Erykah Badu, D’Angelo) intersects with jazz, pop and classical music. Trained as a classical pianist, she has also performed piano concertos by Mozart, Saint-Saëns and Gershwin. As a vocalist she has shared the stage with John McLaughlin and Snarky Puppy.

Although Afra Kane addresses sensitive topics in her music, her musical language is easily accessible, direct and inviting. The singer’s deep-toned voice can also sound pleasantly mellow when needed.
