Jazzkaar 2018 design centers around the sign JAZZ which is made out of the details of the festival logo. The design is brought to life with the illustrations by Helmi Arrak, pattern inspired by the nature and music.
The festival believes that Jazzkaar’s logo is known and recognized – so that the designer can play boldly with the details of the logo. The new visuals will use Helmi Arrak’s illustrations especially made for Jazzkaar and you can find plants, blossoms, leaves, berries and birds in it. The colours of 2018 glow from freshness – lime green and iris purple are in focus. The visual is made by the longlasting partner PUTKA.
Jazzkaar 2018 will take place from 20th until 29th of April at Telliskivi Creative City venues Vaba Lava and Punane Maja. The biggest jazz party’s already announced headliner is the amazing singer-songwriter Laura Mvula from UK. The opening concert of the spring festival is a grand piece “Story of hundred” made for Estonia 100 and will take place on 20th of April. The full programme will be announced in February 2018.
