The trio, who first met years ago in New York, demonstrate on this album that life in a bustling, fast-paced metropolis need not result in pure showmanship – what draws listeners in is a quiet and compelling poetry.

Hailed as a “bass ace” by Bass Player magazine, Greek-born Petros Klampanis is constantly exploring new ways to blend influences that range from classical to pop. His musical journey is marked by powerful melodicism, refined intonation, and a sound world that is distinctly his own. Klampanis has worked with a wide spectrum of artists well known to Jazzkaar audiences – from Shai Maestro, Snarky Puppy, and Gilad Hekselman to Anoushka Shankar.
