This year, Jazzkaar’s club night scores a goal straight from Canada – but instead of lacing up skates, we’re stepping into our best dancing shoes, because Anomalie is coming to town! The Montréal-based project of Nicolas Dupuis , Anomalie seamlessly blends modern jazz, precision-crafted electronics, post-dubstep, and hip-hop into a one-of-a-kind sonic experience. With his four-piece band, Anomalie is a true tour de force – delivering irresistible grooves, intricate harmonies, deep bass, and electrifying energy that promise an unforgettable live performance.

Anomalie’s distinctive genre fusion has cultivated a diverse and devoted fan base, seamlessly bridging the worlds of modern jazz icons (Snarky Puppy, Thundercat, Louis Cole), soulful beatmakers (FKJ, Masego, Tom Misch), and post-dubstep electronic pioneers (Griz, Odesza, Opiuo).
