The phenomenon of mindfulness, the infinite multilayeredness of the human inner world, and the incredible possibilities that open up on invisible levels – these are the dimensions of the Great Unknown into which we will dive with Oleg Pissarenko’s latest work. At the concert in the Kumu Auditorium, pieces from the album Seisundi Muusika (Music of Your Condition) will be performed by the composer on a specially prepared piano and acoustic guitar.

Oleg Pissarenko is an Estonian musician, composer and a long-time advocate of jazz, whose quest for musical truth has led him to a minimalist sound. He expresses this through his guitar and piano playing. Pissarenko has received several accolades for his artistic work, including the title of ERR Musician of the Year and the Order of the White Star, Fifth Class. He has released 11 solo albums, with his latest being Soul’s Journey (2021), Jalutuskäik iseendaga (2022) and Seisundi Muusika (2024). As a freelance musician, he creates original compositions described as jazz minimalism or “music in its simplest and most natural form,” as well as hypnagogic minimalism and post-rock jazz.
