Uno Naissoo is a true legend among Estonian composers who has left an indelible mark on our history of jazz and pop music. Naissoo’s dream to make at least one memorable catchy tune to our music history has justified itself and it’s huge part of composer’s legacy today and sounding more contemporary than ever. At the concert “Thank you, Uno Naissoo!” singers Ivi Rausi and Laura Põldvere bring listeners to the composer’s finest pieces in a novel soundtrack. Classical tunes like “May Started in March”, “I See Out Your Window” and “We Will Never Be Stranger” have got fresh settings – meditative tones, classical jazz ballads, old-school swing, cozy bass-guitar note, and lightly psychedelic grooves.
