Showcase-concert: MADIS MUUL HEXTET, LIISI KOIKSON, PEEP KALLAS TRIO

The unusual composition of the Madis Muul Hextet includes four wind instruments and a rhythm section. At Jazzkaar they will be presenting their debut album “Characters” in collaboration with the singing actress Marta Jakovski. Intimate longings and hopeful dreams can be found on the new EP of the much loved singer songwriter Liisi Koikson. A fresh nuance will be added to the music by producer and musician Sander Mölder. The biggest creative influences to the leader of the Peep Kallas Trio – drummer and composer Peep Kallas – are famous Nordic musicians Jan Johansson, Esbjörn Svensson, Sigur Rós, Nils Frahm, and the fleeting but substantial beauty of the surrounding life.
