Home concert: Marie Vaigla

For the fourth year, homes will become part of the festival’s locational variety with intimate concerts all around Tallinn and for the first time also in Suurupi and Kuressaare. Musicians will become full members of the host-families and greet the music fans in unique atmosphere and intimate sound palette. The homes will open for one special evening only!

This year’s festival Jazzkaar 2018 will be finished by a home concert by Maire Vaigla at Saaremaa island. On Monday, April 30 Helle & Toomas will open the doors to their home nearby Kuressaare Castle, which used to be an old piano factory. Marie is well known as a vocalist of her band Frankie Animal, but this time she will perform with a special programme put together for Jazzkaar. We will hear new and unreleased original compositions together with the interpretations of her favourites like Joni Mitchell and Feist.
