YUSSEF KAMAAL (UK)

Yussef Kamaal is a London duo comprised of percussionist Yussef Dayes, and keyboard player Kamaal Williams (Henry Wu). Jazz specialist Gilles Peterson took the duo under the wing of his label Brownwood solely on their live performances. The duo’s bass laced and modern sound is framed with jazz waves that have rhythms and chords from the heart of London’s jungle, grime, and broken beat scene.
