“Turbulence”
Pianist Kirke Karja won the Young Jazz Talent award in 2014 that praised the fiery creativity of the talented young musician. She is captivated by the dramaturgical developments and extreme compositional devices in jazz. The debut album ‘Turbulence’ of the quartet, released in spring 2015, includes a broad spectrum of emotions and sounds, with influences from classic and ecstatic jazz.
